The Training of Farmers Programme consists of two parts: 1) the manual which provides the facilitator with step-by-step guidelines to the Farmer Training Programme and 2) the handbook which is a reference book for farmers to use during and after the FBS meetings and outlines key concepts as well as experimental exercises to help facilitate farmers’ learning. The purpose of this training manual is to guide trainers who facilitate in the training of business operators comprising commercially oriented smallholder dairy farmers and other small scale traders dealing primarily in milk and dairy products for their livelihood. This guide is intended to provide basic training for business. Module 0: Farmer’s Agribusiness Training Course Orientation, Lesson 1: Welcome e iii MODULE LESSON OVERVIEW Below is a list of the twenty five lessons that make up the USIU Agshare Farmers’ Agribusiness Training Course.
